Jason Beckman - Head Coach

Jason Co-Founded Dinger Nation in 2017, and is the current President of the Organization. He has served as a Head Coach in the Organization each year, and has been a vital part of helping young men improve on and off the field. Jason has over 20 years of Coaching experience, and is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association.
Jason graduated from Bradshaw High School where he was the 1994 Times Daily Baseball Player of the Year. He then attended Calhoun Community College where he served as a Team Captain, and was on the All Conference Team. In his 2 years at Calhoun he composed a .376 average and was the 3rd person in school history to record over 100 hits. Jason finished his playing career at Lambuth University, where he was All Conference finishing his Junior and Senior Season with 19 homers with an average of .390. Following his Senior Season, Coach Beckman had a brief stint playing Independent League Baseball. After his playing career, Jason assisted Colleges in Tennessee and Alabama in Summer Baseball Camps.
Coach Beckman has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Lambuth University. He is a native of Florence, Alabama where he resides with his wife Christina. They have two sons who are Sophomores in College - Logan and Caleb, and a daughter - Josie.
Michael Daniel - Head Coach
Michael Co-Founded Dinger Nation in 2017. He has served as a Head Coach in the Organization 4 of the 5 years of Dinger Nation, and was part of the 2021 Fall Baseball League, and has been a vital part of helping young men improve on and off the field. Michael has over 20 years of Coaching experience, and is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association.
Michael graduated from Cherokee High School where he was an All-Area Pitcher. He was a member of the 1994 American Legion State Champions where he was named Alabama State MVP. Michael attended Calhoun Community College where he was selected as one of the Top 25 Junior College Players by Baseball America. Daniel was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 1995 MLB draft in the 13th round, but opted to stay in college. After finishing up a Calhoun, Daniel attended the University of Alabama where in 1997 he composed a 6-1 record and was the winning pitcher in the SEC Championship Game. Michael pitched in the 1997 College World Series where Alabama finished runner up. He finished his playing career at Lambuth University, where he was an All American finishing his Senior Season with 2 No Hitters. After his Senior Season, Michael was drafted in the 19th round by the Texas Rangers where he played in their Minor League system. After college Michael has served as the Head Softball Coach at Covenant Christian, Asst. Softball Coach at Sheffield, Asst. Baseball Coach at Wilson. He was also the Head Coach for Muscle Shoals Dixie Youth Ozone that won the 2014 World Series.
Coach Daniel was inducted into the Colbert County Hall of Fame in 2014. Michael currently lives in Muscle Shoals, Alabama where he resides with his wife Christy have two sons Luke who is a Sophomore at Wallace State, and Lane who is a Junior at Wilson High School.
Coley Blakeney - Head Coach
Coach Blakeney is in his first season with Dinger Nation
Coley is the current Pitching and Assistant Coach at Bevill State Community College. He also has served in the past as the Pitching and Assistant Coach for Caledonia High School in Mississippi. Coley is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association.
Blakeney is from Fayette, Alabama where he starred for the Fayette County Tigers. In 2001, Coley was named the Tuscaloosa News Most Valuable Player. His Senior Year, he posted a 13-1 record on the mound with an ERA of 0.74 recording over 120 strikeouts. He was also named to the 2001 Alabama All-State Team in 4a. After graduation, Coley received a baseball scholarship to the University of Alabama where he was a pitcher under Coach Jim Wells.
Cory Mason - Head Coach
Coach Mason is in his first season with Dinger Nation
Cory is a Graduate of Buckhorn High School where he starred for Bucks. After graduation, Cory went on to play baseball at Lawson State Community College, then to Shorter University where he was a 3 year starter at First Base hitting over .350 his Senior Season for the Hawks.
Hunter Hill - Head Coach
Coach Hill will be in his first season coaching with Dinger Nation.
Hunter is a graduate of UAB where he was a 2-Time Conference USA Commissioner Academic Medal Recipient. Hunter was a catcher on the Blazers Baseball Team.
Hill is from the Shoals area where he graduated from Deshler High School. While at Deshler he was named to the All Area Team as a Sophomore, Junior, and a Senior.
After Deshler, Hunter attended Bevill State on a Baseball scholarship and was an academic All American.
