Jason Beckman - Head Coach

Jason Co-Founded Dinger Nation in 2017, and is the current President of the Organization. He has served as a Head Coach in the Organization each year, and has been a vital part of helping young men improve on and off the field. Jason has over 20 years of Coaching experience, and is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association.
Jason graduated from Bradshaw High School where he was the 1994 Times Daily Baseball Player of the Year. Jason was a key member of the Florence American Legion Team that won the 1994 State Championship. He then attended Calhoun Community College where he served as a Team Captain, and was on the All Conference Team. In his 2 years at Calhoun he composed a .376 average and was the 3rd person in school history to record over 100 hits. Jason finished his playing career at Lambuth University, where he was All Conference finishing his Junior and Senior Season with 19 homers with an average of .390. Following his Senior Season, Coach Beckman had a brief stint playing Independent League Baseball. After his playing career, Jason assisted Colleges in Tennessee and Alabama in Summer Baseball Camps.
Coach Beckman has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Lambuth University. He is a native of Florence, Alabama where he resides with his wife Christina. They have two sons Logan and Caleb, and a daughter - Josie.
Coach Beckman was inducted into the Lauderdale County Sports Hall of Fame in March 2023.
Michael Daniel - Head Coach

Michael Co-Founded Dinger Nation in 2017. He has served as a Head Coach in the Organization 5 of the 6 years of Dinger Nation, and has been a Director of the 2021 and 2022 Dinger Nation Fall Baseball League, and has been a vital part of helping young men improve on and off the field. Michael has over 20 years of Coaching experience, and is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association.
Michael graduated from Cherokee High School where he was an All-Area Pitcher. He was a member of the 1994 American Legion State Champions where he was named Alabama State MVP. Michael attended Calhoun Community College where he was selected as one of the Top 25 Junior College Players by Baseball America. Daniel was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 1995 MLB draft in the 13th round, but opted to stay in college. After finishing up a Calhoun, Daniel attended the University of Alabama where in 1997 he composed a 6-1 record and was the winning pitcher in the SEC Championship Game. Michael pitched in the 1997 College World Series where Alabama finished runner up. He finished his playing career at Lambuth University, where he was an All American finishing his Senior Season with 2 No Hitters. After his Senior Season, Michael was drafted in the 19th round by the Texas Rangers where he played in their Minor League system. After college Michael has served as the Head Softball Coach at Covenant Christian, Asst. Softball Coach at Sheffield, Asst. Baseball Coach at Wilson. He was also the Head Coach for Muscle Shoals Dixie Youth Ozone that won the 2014 World Series.
Michael currently lives in Muscle Shoals, Alabama where he resides with his wife Christy have two sons Luke and Lane.
Coach Daniel was inducted into the Colbert County Hall of Fame in 2014.
Bryant Lash - Head Coach
16U Director
Bryant will be joining Dinger Nation for his first season for Summer 2023 bringing 20 years of coaching experience with him. Bryant founded Lauderdale Elite Baseball in 2018, and served as the Head Coach the past 4 years. While with Lauderdale Elite he helped guide the organization to multiple championships, and more importantly helping young men improve at the game of baseball. Prior to founding Lauderdale Elite, Lash served as a Head Coach for Shoals Creek Baseball. He has also spent time as an Assistant Baseball Coach for Brooks High School. Bryant is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association.
Bryant graduated from Brooks High School where he was an All-Area Pitcher. He was a pitcher for the Florence Cadets who won the 1994 American Legion State Championship. After High School, Lash continued his baseball career at Northwest Shoals.
Cory Mason - Head Coach
Coach Mason is in his second season with Dinger Nation
Cory is a Graduate of Buckhorn High School where he starred for Bucks. After graduation, Cory went on to play baseball at Lawson State Community College, then to Shorter University where he was a 3 year starter at First Base hitting over .350 his Senior Season for the Hawks. Cory is currently a Graduate Assistant at Shorter University.
Darren Waldrep - Head Coach
Coach Waldrep is in his second season with Dinger Nation
Darren spent last summer as an Assistant Coach in our 17u Program.
Darren is a former Assistant Coach for Decatur Heritage.
Heath Olive - Head Coach
Coach Olive is in his first season with Dinger Nation.
Heath is from Sheffield, Alabama.
He began his college baseball career fairly close to home at Wallace State Community College, where he played for two seasons. During that time, he made 25 appearances, striking out 57 in 40.2 innings.
He then transferred to Faulkner University for the 2019 season and was there for two years. Heath has excelled at Faulkner, posting a 6-3 record with 6 saves, a 3.05 ERA and an outstanding 13.3 strikeouts per nine innings rate. Heath finished his college career at Southeastern University. After college, he played for the Utica Unicorns of the United Shore Professional Baseball League.. He is currently a Baseball Instructor at Klutch Athletics.
